Big Rapids, Mich. - Official game times have been announced for the Ferris State University softball team's remaining regular-season home games this campaign.
The Bulldogs will host Ashland on Sunday (April 27) beginning at 11:30 a.m. (ET) for game one with game two to follow at the FSU Softball Field. It will represent FSU's annual Senior Day event in which the squad will honor its 2014 senior class.
Following Sunday's league doubleheader against the Eagles, the Bulldogs are currently slated to play host to rival Grand Valley State in the final regular-season twinbill for both teams on Monday (April 28). Game one will begin at 11 a.m. (ET) with game two to follow at approximately 1 p.m. (ET).
The remaining GLIAC schedule is still subject to change per adjustments made by the conference office if necessary.
Prior to the final two conference home doubleheaders, FSU first hits the road for its next four games with the Bulldogs visiting Findlay on Friday (April 25) for a league twinbill starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET) in Findlay, Ohio. Ferris State then heads to Hillsdale on Saturday (April 26) for a two-game set beginning at 1 p.m. (ET).
Presently, the Bulldogs are 13-16 overall and 8-10 in the league standings.
FSU is currently battling for one of the eight spots in the GLIAC Postseason Tournament. The top eight teams at the end of the regular-season, based on winning percentage playing a minimum of 75% of their originally scheduled league games, will qualify for the event to be held May 2-4 in Findlay, Ohio.
