Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University's scheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) softball doubleheader on Saturday (April 13) at Saginaw Valley State has been cancelled due to the weather.
The two teams were slated to play a twinbill in University Center, but both games were called off by SVSU officials due to field and weather conditions. No makeup date has been set for the two-game series at this time.
With the cancellation, the Bulldogs are now slated to next take the field on Sunday (April 14) as FSU visits Wayne State for a league doubleheader in the Motor City. First pitch for game one is set for 12 p.m. (ET) in Detroit with the second game to follow at approximately 2 p.m. (ET).

The Bulldogs are currently 15-9 overall and 8-4 in GLIAC action to date this season under first-year head coach Marie Foster.
