Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced that Wednesday's (April 10) scheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) home softball doubleheader against Northwood has been postponed.
The two teams were scheduled to play a twinbill at the FSU Softball Field, but it has been called off due to rain and wet weather conditions expected.
The two-game set has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 23, in Big Rapids starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
With the change, the next scheduled action for the Bulldogs is set for Saturday (April 13) as FSU opens a 10-game road stretch with a doubleheader in league play at Saginaw Valley State in University Center, Mich. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 1 p.m. (ET).
The Bulldogs are also slated to visit Wayne State on Sunday (April 14) for a league twinbill starting at 12 p.m. (ET).
Presently, the Bulldogs are 15-9 overall and 8-4 in conference play this season and have won eight of their last 10 games overall.
