Big Rapids, Mich. - Due to expected weather conditions, Ferris State University's scheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) showdown versus rival Grand Valley State has been pushed back one day.
The Bulldogs and Lakers will meet now on Sunday (April 7) rather than Saturday at the GVSU Softball Field in Allendale. Game one is still scheduled for a 1 p.m. (ET) pitch with game two to follow at approximately 3 p.m. (ET).
GVSU currently leads the GLIAC standings with a 9-1 conference mark to date this season with FSU only a game back at 8-2 in league play. Overall, the Lakers own a 21-3 record with FSU at 15-7 overall entering Sunday's twinbill.
The Bulldogs have won their last eight games in a row and are coming off a home sweep of Lake Superior State on Wednesday at the FSU Softball Field in Big Rapids, which marked FSU's first games on its home field this season.
