Big Rapids, Mich. - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) has announced television coverage plans for the 2014 WCHA Final Five Championship which will take place this coming weekend (March 21-22) at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.

FOX Sports North, in conjunction with the WCHA, will produce and carry both semifinal contests on Friday along with the Broadmoor Trophy Championship Game on Saturday. In addition, the broadcast signal will be carried on various distribution channels by FOX Sports Wisconsin, FOX Sports Detroit, Sports Time Ohio and FOX College Sports-Central.

In Michigan, the two semifinal games on Friday will be carried by Fox Sports Detroit Plus with the title game on Saturday carried on the main Fox Sports Detroit channel.

Dan Parkhurst will serve as play-by-play announcer alongside analyst Jeff Sauer.

Parkhurst is a veteran college hockey on-air personality and the regular television and radio voice for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. He has provided play-by-play for a number of national sports networks and is the recipient of the 2013 Hockey East Media Award for contributions to media coverage.

Sauer is one of the most successful college hockey coaches in history, winning 655 games over 36 seasons as head coach at both Colorado College and the University of Wisconsin. Named "WCHA Coach of the Year" two times, he led the Badgers to two national championships, two WCHA regular season titles and MacNaughton Cups as well as six league playoff championships. He is a winner of the National Hockey League's prestigious Lester Patrick Award and was named a Hobey Baker Legend of College Hockey.

Bulldog fans wanting to follow Ferris State to Grand Rapids and buy tickets for the WCHA Final Five Championship at Van Andel Arena can purchase tickets thru one of the following methods using the discount code "BULLDOGS" to receive a special ticket price.

They can be bought online at (type Bulldogs into the discount code box), by calling Van Andel Arena starting on Monday at 616-742-6185 (mention Bulldogs) or by visiting the Van Andel Box Office in person and mentioning "Bulldogs" at the ticket window. Processing fees of $3 may apply to online and phone orders, which both end on Friday at noon.

Ferris State students will be able to purchase tickets thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office in person starting this Monday night at 6 p.m. (ET). Two options are available for students including a bus package for the first 250 students who sign up that includes a reserved game ticket, bus ride and tshirt for $20 or a seperate option with only the reserved ticket and no bus ride for $20. No phone orders will be accepted and students must show a valid ID card.

The bus package will leave on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and the first 100 who signup for the bus on Monday evening will also receive another FREE ride on Saturday if the Bulldogs win. Students should be aware that tickets for the championship game should FSU win on Friday will be $30 for that game and sold immediately following the semifinals at Van Andel Arena.

The WCHA Final Five winner receives the Broadmoor Trophy and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division 1 Ice Hockey Championship tournament.
