Tickets for the nationally fifth-ranked Ferris State University men's ice hockey team's Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) First-Round Home Playoff series are now on sale.
The Bulldogs, who presently have six games remaining in the regular-season, will host a best-of-three first round series March 14-15 and 16 (if necessary) at the Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids against an opponent to be determined. The first two games of the first round series are scheduled for 7:07 p.m. (ET) with the deciding third game, if necessary, beginning on Sunday at 5:07 p.m. (ET). The series will represent FSU's first-ever WCHA home playoff action.
The winner of the opening-round series will advance to Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena for the WCHA Final Five Championship on March 21-22 with the league's playoff champion earning the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Ferris State's 2014 WCHA Playoff single-game ticket prices are as follows:

A special Buy One, Get One 1/2 price offer is also available for $19, but valid until March 12 only or while supplies last thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office directly.
In addition, a "Friday Family Fun Pack" or four tickets for $48 will be offered that includes a pizza buffet, game ticket, thundersticks, inflatables, contests and more for the first playoff game on Friday. FSU will also be offering a Youth Hockey promo for the Saturday game with a ticket and on-ice skills competition for $10.
All ticket prices and availability are subject to change and available as supplies last. Limited quantities exist for some ticket prices.

The FSU Athletics Ticket Office's hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) weekdays. The ticket office will also offer extended hours until 7 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday's throughout the regular-season and open on home game Saturday's at 12 p.m. (ET).

As a special incentive to currently-enrolled FSU students, the Ferris State Housing Office is supporting Bulldog Hockey during spring break by allowing students to stay in their rooms the first weekend of the break on March 7-8 as FSU hosts Lake Superior State in the final regular-season series. The Housing Office is then reopening the halls early on March 15th for the opening WCHA 1st round game. Students must have game tickets to be allowed in their respective halls and can sign up by showing tickets at their respective front desks. The deadline to sign up is March 3.
Ferris State hosts Alaska-Anchorage this weekend (Feb. 21-22) in WCHA regular-season action at home. The Bulldogs and Minnesota State are tied atop the league standings with 34 total points each although FSU owns two games in hand on the Mavericks with only six games left on the Bulldogs' regular-season schedule. FSU is presently ranked fifth this week in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Online Poll along with sixth in the USCHO.com National Rankings.
This weekend's league home series represents one of the final two home weekends for the Bulldogs in the regular-season prior to the WCHA Playoffs. FSU will also host Lake Superior State in its final two regular-season outings on March 7-8 during "Senior Weekend" in Big Rapids with a special "Buy One, Get One Free" promotional offer available while supplies last.
Presently, Ferris State ranks as one of the nation's top three teams on home ice this year as FSU has compiled a 10-1-1 mark to date in the facility this campaign. Overall, The Bulldogs presently own a 21-7-3 overall this season along with a 16-4-2 mark in the league standings.
Currently, FSU's 21 wins are second in the country and the Bulldogs also have the nation's fifth-best winning percentage (.726). Ferris State is also fifth in the national PairWise and RPI rankings, which will help determine the NCAA Tournament field at the end of the season.
Overall, FSU has posted 14 sellouts since the second half of the historic 2011-12 season in which FSU reached the Frozen Four and the national championship game. The "Dawg Pound" student section has also sold out each of the last 45 home consecutive home contests.
