Big Rapids, Mich. - A busy week is in store for Ferris State University Athletics with eight home contests this week in Big Rapids.
The Bulldog women's soccer team will start off the week by hosting Northwood in a rescheduled non-conference matchup on Tuesday (Oct. 15) at the FSU Soccer Field beginning at 4 p.m. (ET).
On Thursday (Oct. 17), the Bulldog women's tennis team plays its final Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular-season home match versus West Michigan rival Grand Valley State beginning at 1 p.m. (ET) inside the FSU Racquet and Fitenss Center in Big Rapids.
Then, on Friday (Oct. 18), a tripleheader awaits on campus as the Bulldog women's soccer, volleyball and hockey teams are all in action. The soccer squad will open the action against Tiffin in league play starting at 2 p.m. (ET) with the nationally-ranked FSU volleyball team squaring off against Findlay inside the Ewigleben Sports Arena beginning at 5 p.m. (ET).
Bulldog Hockey wraps up Friday's slate as Ferris State plays its home opener against St. Lawrence in non-league play with the puck drop set for 7:07 p.m. (ET) at the Ewigleben Ice Arena. Admission will be free to all Ferris State students with a valid student ID card for Friday's season opener.
Saturday (Oct. 19) will feature a double dip as the volleyball squad entertains Wayne State in a key league match at 3 p.m. (ET) followed by Ferris State's first-ever "Pink In The Rink" hockey contest versus St. Lawrence at 7:07 p.m. The special event, presented by General Mills-Yoplait, will feature the Bulldogs wearing pink jerseys for the series' finale with proceeds from the night benefiting cancer research and the Susan P. Wheatlake Fund.
Finally, women's soccer wraps up the busy stretch by facing Findlay on Sunday (Oct. 20) in another league matchup beginning at 12 p.m. (ET).
Tickets for all FSU home men's ice hockey regular-season contests this season are currently on sale and can be bought online at StarTickets.com or purchased in person at the FSU Athletics Ticket Office. The ticket office will be open inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) along with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. (ET). Fans can save and avoid potential lines by purchasing in advance. Additionally, the ticket office will open on Saturday at 12 p.m. (ET).
Tickets for both volleyball and soccer are sold on gameday starting one hour prior to the scheduled start time.
