Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced reserved season tickets for the 2013-14 Bulldog men's ice hockey campaign and the school's first-ever season in one of the nation's most historic conferences, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), are currently on sale.
Fans can guarantee seats for all 16 home contests as the Bulldogs build new rivalries and welcome new opponents to the Ewigleben Ice Arena for the school's 36th year of NCAA Division I hockey. This year's slate features eight home weekends with four new schools scheduled to visit Big Rapids for the first time.
Seating is expected to be at a premium again this season based on results of strong student season ticket sales this summer. This past year, in 2012-13, the Bulldogs officially sold out five times and drew more than 2,000 fans for each of their last 10 regular-season home contests in the 2,400-seat facility. Overall, FSU has posted 11 total sellouts at the Ewigleben Ice Arena since the second half of a historic 2011-12 campaign in which the Bulldogs reached the national championship game at the NCAA Frozen Four.
This coming year, compliments of Katke Golf Course, season ticket holders will be honored throughout the year with "Gallery" seating on the glass, complimentary private lessons, golf and the opportunity to win a free membership to Katke.
Adult season ticket prices for the 2013-14 season are $175 with seniors (ages 65+) along with FSU faculty/staff prices set for $165. A student ticket (age 3 to 12th grade) is $99 with all current Ferris State student tickets sold for $85 with valid student identification.
Season tickets will remain on sale and must be purchased by Sept. 13 with single-game ticket sales starting on Sept. 16. Forms have been mailed to all past season ticket holders, who are encouraged to renew their seats as soon as possible.
All reserved season tickets must be purchased directly thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located in the Ewigleben Sports Complex either in person or by phone. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ET) at this time with extended hours being offered once the school year begins.

Ferris State will embark on its first season in the WCHA during the upcoming 2013-14 campaign. The Bulldogs wrapped up their final season of Central Collegiate Hockey Association competition this past year and earned a first-round tournament bye for the fourth consecutive year, one of only two schools to accomplish the feat in the final four years of the league.
This past season's campaign came on the heels of a historic 2011-12 campaign in which Ferris State received its first-ever number one national ranking, won the CCHA regular-season championship, claimed the NCAA Midwest Regional crown and advanced to the Frozen Four for the first time in school history.
Ferris State will officially open the 2013-14 season on the road at Colgate in a non-league series set for Oct. 5-6 in Hamilton, N.Y. The regular-season home opener is set for Friday, Oct. 18, as FSU entertains St. Lawrence in Big Rapids with the squad's first WCHA home series slated for Nov. 8-9 versus Bemidji State.
