Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University Athletics has announced plans are currently underway to take a fan bus to Tampa for the 2012 NCAA Division I Frozen Four next week for those interested in following the Bulldog men's ice hockey team.

Details are still being finalized, but signups are currently being taken for the FREE transportation to Tampa Bay in the FSU Athletics Ticket Office.  The free bus tranpsortation is compliments of the FSU President's Office.

The bus is tentatively slated to depart Big Rapids on Wednesday, April 4, at 9 a.m. (ET) and will depart Tampa Bay for the return trip home on Sunday, April 8, at 10 a.m. (ET).

Negotiations for hotel rates are still continuing with plans being finalized to have a block of rooms reserved for those interested in making the trip by this Thursday at 12 p.m.

To qualify for the free bus ride, fans must purchase an all-session game ticket thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office and the Bulldogs' allotment.  The $195 ticket will allow for entrance into both national semifinal games and the national championship contest in FSU's designated seating locations inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Additionally, in order to take the bus, fans must stay at the hotel provided by FSU Athletics.  All lodging and ticket costs are the responsibility of the person traveling.

The first 60 FSU students to signup for the trip will receive $50 off their game ticket courtesy of the Blueline Club.

For additional information or to sign up, please contact the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888.  The free transportation will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis while availability remains.

Ferris State, which won the Midwest Regional Championship this past weekend in Green Bay, will face Union College in its first-ever Frozen Four appearance on Thursday, April 5, starting at 4:30 p.m. (ET).
