The quarterfinal-round winners in both the men's and women's tournaments will advance to the GLIAC Tournament semifinals and finals set for Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, at the site of the highest remaining seed in each field.

The Bulldog men are 10-15 all-time in 13 previous tournament appearances and reached the GLIAC Tournament Championship game as the host institution two years ago before falling on the road at Michigan Tech last year in the quarterfinals. Ferris captured the 1997-98 league tourney title and will be making its eighth appearance in the last nine years, including a fifth consecutive showing.
The women's team enters postseason play with a 13-12 overall mark and earned a wild card nod after posting a 12-10 record in league play.
The Bulldog men's basketball team concluded the regular-season with a 14-12 overall record and also claimed a wild card spot after placing fourth in the North Division with a 13-9 league ledger.
