Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University fans will have a special opportunity to win this Thursday (Jan. 20) evening as "Meijer Madness" takes place at Jim Wink Arena.
The Bulldogs host Michigan Tech in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader with the men's contest starting at 6 p.m. (ET) followed by the women's game at 8 p.m. (ET).
During the evening, over $300 of Meijer gift cards will be presented to fans. Additionally, one lucky FSU student will walk away with a $100 gift card.

The Bulldog men's basketball team currently is second in the GLIAC North Division and moved within a game of Grand Valley State for the divisional lead this past weekend. FSU holds a 11-5 overall record and is 7-2 in conference play. The Bulldogs are also unbeaten (7-0) at home this year.
Thursday's game will be an important contest for the men's squad as Michigan Tech presently sits third in the division with a 10-5 overall mark and a 5-3 league slate. The Huskies also beat FSU 74-71 earlier this season (Dec. 18) in Houghton, Mich.
The FSU women's squad will face a tough task against nationally 10th-ranked Michigan Tech, which is unbeaten in league conference play (8-0) and owns a 13-1 overall record this campaign. The Huskies beat Ferris in Houghton by a 64-43 score prior to the holiday break (Dec. 18).
In addition to Thursday's doubleheader against the Huskies, the Bulldogs will also be at home on Saturday (Jan. 22) hosting Northern Michigan in a league twinbill beginning with the men's game at 1 p.m. (ET) followed by the women's tilt at 3 p.m. (ET).
Saturday's doubleheader will represent the third of FSU's Saturday "Kidz Dayz" events sponsored by Green's Sporting Goods at Wink Arena. The fun, exciting and free activities for kids will include an arts and crafts table, bounce house, halftime events, face painting, photos with Brutus the Bulldog and more. It is free to children in grades K-12 with a paid adult.
