Big Rapids, Mich. - The nationally-ranked Ferris State University football squad continues a two-game homestand this Saturday (Oct. 7) as the Bulldogs square off against the Tiffin Dragons in afternoon action at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids.
A large crowd is expected again this week as part of the "Be A Bulldog" day promotion presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Along with football, the women's tennis, volleyball and hockey teams will also be in action on the FSU campus the same day.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. (ET) and fans are encouraged to "come early, cheer loud and wear red!".
Bulldog Athletics encourages all fans to support its weekend sponsor by visiting Tropical Smoothie in Bulldog gear on Saturday. All patrons in gear will receive 20% off their order that day.
Both teams are presently near the top of the GLIAC with the Dragons coming in owning a 4-1 overall record and a 3-0 league slate. FSU meanwhile is 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference following a decisive 59-17 triumph over Wayne State before a large crowd of nearly 6,500 fans in the homecoming tilt this past week.
Tickets for Saturday's game can be bought online at www.StarTickets.com, by calling (800) 585-3737, or in person thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The ticket office is open today thru Friday from 9 a.m. (ET) to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. (ET).

Football tickets for Saturday's game are $14 for adults along with $12 for senior citizens (ages 65+) and FSU faculty/staff in addition to $8 for students (age 5-17). Ferris State students with ID will be admitted free by showing their student identification cards.
Parking in lots near Top Taggart Field is $5 per available space on a first-come, first-served basis. As a convenience to fans, credit cards will also be accepted at the ticket window along with the concession stand.
Tailgating will be permitted starting on Saturday at 10 a.m. (ET) with the gates to the stadium opening 90 minutes prior to kickoff at 11:30 a.m. (ET).
The FSU-TU football game will be broadcast live locally by the Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM with Rob Bentley handling the play-by-play duties and Sandy Gholston offering color commentary. A live high-definition video and audio webcast complete with internet statistics will be available through FSU's all-access video portal at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
